- Dr Joanne Loh, PhD student, was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen, The Netherlands, now at CSIRO
- Mark Maley, Hons student, took up PhD studies in the Base Metals Program of the AJ Parker CRC
- Dr Anthony McKinnon, Postdoctoral Fellow, now a Research Chemist for Alcoa World Alumina Australia
- Dr Gabriella Sipos, PhD student, now a Development Chemist, Nabalco Pty Ltd, Nhulunbuy, NT
- Mike Wilson, PhD student, moved on to Postdoctoral studies at the University of Warwick
- Gianluca Paglia, PhD student, now a Postdoctoral Fellow at Michigan State University
